The Chinese have used Chi Gong for thousands of years as a key to health and wellbeing.
Based on Taoist philosophy and acupuncture, its purpose is to channel and preserve our life force, known as ‘chi.’
Chi Gong uses a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation. It is a gentle practice, which is easy to follow and requires no former experience.
We will use the Chi Gong as a warm up for an introduction to the Tai Chi form, another ancient Taoist practice known for its health benefits, which emphasizes breath and relaxation with flowing movements.
